What I’ve Purchased For My Apartment So Far

Some of you might know, some of you might not… but I am FINALLY moving into my own apartment! I am literally the happiest human. For the past two (ish) years I have been living at home, and although it’s not the worst thing at all I have really missed having my own space and just being on my own. I have been so lucky to have parents who supported me after graduating college, and let me move back in with them! But now after some time, I think we are all ready for me to move out – haha. 

Although I don’t have all of the details, I will be moving into a one bedroom apartment within the next month! Finding a one bedroom apartment in Houston has been a struggle, to say the least. I have definitely been frustrated a ton, but have basically just let God take this. While I’m writing this post I am getting ready to go tour another place – so if all goes well I will be moving very soon!

I’m planning on doing a sit-down video in a few months talking about the whole struggle of living at home after college, and just all of that on a more personal level! Let me know if that’s something you’re interested in!

But, now onto the fun part! THE DECOR!

I will preface this post by saying I am starting from scratch when it comes to furnishing and decorating a whole apartment, which can definitely be overwhelming. But, I did want to show you guys what I have bought so far, and what I have in my cart! I still have a long way to go, but most of the bigger furniture items I can’t purchase until I have decided on a space so I know what size works!
