Yes, I know it’s already way past the first day of fall but that doesn’t mean you don’t need inspiration for your Instagram still! It might be just me, but fall makes me want to take a million photos everywhere I go. Not to mention, I find so much more inspiration during fall compared to other seasons. There’s just something so aesthetically pleasing about blanket scarves and pumpkins.
Store fronts are always decorated so beautiful during the fall season, and normal everyday things look 10x more photogenic. Walking into Trader Joe’s a few weekends ago I thought to myself *wow this is so perfect for Instagram* I’m telling you, fall is the best time to step up your Insta game and boost engagement!
Living in Houston we barely have a fall season, or any season other than summer honestly. But I turn to Instagram for my fall cravings! We might not necessarily have a fall just yet, but I have some photo ideas that work in any kind of temperature!

Pumpkins
This is a no-brainer, but of course, I had to include it! Pumpkins are the epitome of a perfect fall day and fall feed. Also, you can find them practically anywhere! Try your local grocery store, or even craft store. Adding a few pumpkin photos to your feed is sure to please, and add a few followers to your fam!
Fall clothing
Everyone has a plaid flannel hanging up in their closet, and if you don’t you most likely have a million other fall-appropriate clothing pieces. Even if you don’t want to post an outfit photo, you can throw a cozy sweater or blanket scarf in the background of a photo to add a fun fall vibe to your photos!
Coffee/ Hot Tea
Have you noticed there are so many photos of coffee mugs floating around Instagram lately? That’s because fall basically means coffee, or any hot drinks. How many times have you seen someone posting about their PSL the past few months? Probably more than you can count on one hand, that’s for sure. Photographing your favorite hot tea before bed is sure to add a fall warmth to your feed.
Fall Inspired Food
If you are obsessed with pumpkin flavored foods you probably have a bunch of different items stuffed in your pantry! Personally, I love seeing what holiday inspired products people are buying so I can add them to my list!
Candles
I own way too many fall candles, but I justify my addiction when I realize candles are the perfect Instagram opportunity. Silly? Maybe, but so true.
