Hi, friends! Today’s post is a little bit different, but it’s my birthday so that’s a reason to change it up, right?! Well, actually tomorrow is my birthday but that’s beside the point. I’ve never been that person who was super into their own birthday, for some reason. I love planning other’s birthdays and tend to go a little overboard actually, but when it comes to my own I don’t really think about it.

This year I’m turning 24, which is so weird to me! I was actually just telling a friend that I remember in college I thought by 24 I would be married, and thinking about having kids – WHAT. Now, I could not even imagine having kids, or being married. It’s still shocking to me that some of my friends have been married for two or more years!

I was trying to decide what to do for this post, and was first thinking about 24 things I learned, but then thought that might be a little boring for you guys to read! So, I decided to share 24 facts that you might not know about me! I did my best to think of interesting facts, so hope you enjoy!

1. I used to drink a Large Coke from Sonic every SINGLE day in high school and most of college

2. One day I want to live in Nashville, Tennessee (never been, but I know I’d love it)

3. I actually got Quinn (my Catahoula pup) on Craigslist

4. In college I worked a lot of jobs. I worked at Hollister, the school newspaper, Saks Off Fifth, as a nanny, and as a gymnastics coach. Most of these jobs I worked at the same time. My last semester of college my parents decided I needed a break, and I focused on school and friends!

5. College made me such an independent person – I love doing things on my own

6. I actually hate donuts and would choose a breakfast taco or kolaches over it any morning

7. I grew up dancing, and then quit to cheer in middle and high school – still regret it.

8. I can quote every line from She’s The Man – it’s my all time favorite movie.

9. I’m 5’2 and wish I was shorter

10. I know every single word to “Cannibal” by Ke$ha

11. A year (or so) ago I saw Katy Perry in concert, and it was seriously a dream – LOVE her

12. I hate cooking, and would live off Chipotle if I could

13. I flew to Florida by myself in the 5th grade to visit my best friend who had just moved

14. Dark chocolate over milk chocolate any day

15. I went to UNT my freshman year and absolutely hated it so I transferred to Texas State and had the best 3 years!

16. My niece calls me “Aunt Jibby” and it’s the cutest thing. A bunch of my friends now call me Jibby too, lol.

17. Senior year of college my roommate’s boyfriend’s Great Dane had 15 puppies in our apartment, and I was the only one home for the first one to be born

18. I am the youngest of 5 kids, and have more nieces and nephews than siblings.

19. I have watched Justin Bieber’s Netflix “documentary” Never Say Never 100+ times. Yes, I was that girl.

20. My dad, aunt, brother-in-law, and sister went to Texas State University. Even my cousin was a professor there! Eat ’em up!

21. If I ever got a tattoo it would be of the deathly hallows from Harry Potter. I’m obsessed with HP, but not so great with needles.

22. I legit passed out when I got my nose pierced, and fell on my friend that I was with and woke up sitting on a couch holding crackers – lol. I was so embarrassed.

23. I have an irrational fear of sharks and alligators. When I was younger I always thought a shark was in the pool, or an alligator was under my bed. Still to this day, I get extremely scared they are going to somehow pop out of nowhere.

24. I have been in way too many floods to count, and am terrified of driving in the rain because of it.
