Transitioning my denim skirt into a night time look, say what? You’re crazy Jamie. I know that’s what you all are thinking, but just trust me… it can be done!
After seeing this denim skirt styled so many different ways, I knew I had to make this post. Right when I put it into my shopping cart I started picturing how I was going to wear it. I knew I definitely had to pair it with my favorite Adidas superstar sneakers, but also thought it would look super sassy with my black OTK boots. So, since I couldn’t decide between the two I decided to combine the look into this day-to-night look you are seeing today!
During the day
Chenille cardigan (almost sold out) | Faux cami | Moto denim skirt (wearing a 4) |
Velvet choker | Double buckle belt | Adidas sneakers
The Adidas definitely give it a super casual look, but the suede cami and double sided belt show you put a little effort into your appearance! This would be the perfect look for a day spent with your girlfriends brunching and shopping.
Into the night

Tassel bag | OTK boots (mine are sold out- but linked super similar!)
I traded out my black velvet choker and sneakers for some tassel earrings and OTK boots! I have been loving these earrings, especially with this transition look. Adding statement jewelry and a simple black clutch did so much for this denim skirt – I love it! Although you wouldn’t typically think of a denim skirt as a night piece I think with all of the girly accessories and OTK boots it really works.
