Well friends it finally cooled down in Texas, right in time for Christmas! I am so excited to finally be able to wear actual winter clothes without sweating my butt off! Now, lets just hope this cold front stays!

If you read this post – all about fashion rules and why you should break them, you would know I am a big fan of white after labor day. Winter white is my favorite for two reasons. 1. Most people will not be wearing it and 2. it’s a fun pop to add to any winter outfit. I am a big fan of neutrals in the winter time. I love wearing lots of whites, browns, and pale pink tones!

Pairing white denim with a sweater, and a beanie is my favorite look November – January (weather permitting) It’s the perfect “I got ready in 5 minutes but look like I actually tried” look. I don’t know about you, but those are my favorite!

I snagged this sweater and beanie over Black Friday but it is still in stock at Old Navy! I am in love with the stitching on this sweater, and I think the color is so different for this time of year. It’s a cropped sweater, so it fits perfect for us petite gals! It’s one of the only tops I own where the sleeves don’t hang off of my arms without me rolling it up. Score!

Online they actually offer it in a petite size as well, which I wish I would have seen in the stores, but I wanted to pass that along to you guys! For reference, I am wearing a size medium since the store was out of a lot at the time! But, I could size down to a small for a more form fitting look. If you’re looking for a cozy everyday sweater that you can throw on and go, this is the one for you!

Honestly hiding it away has always been the best way I save up for big purchases!
