What I’ve Been Loving

Current favorites of the month. Random products I have been loving this month. Sharing beauty products and lifestyle things I have been loving. The Blonder Life

Hello friends, and happy Friday! This week has flown by for me… I have basically been running around every day doing so many errands for both the blog and store. So maybe that’s why this week felt so short! I have no plans tonight and am pretty excited to watch Netflix, drink some wine and just relax!

On Saturday I have a styled shoot with one of my favorite photographers and her senior reps! I’m styling them all with clothes and accessories from The Cheeky Lemon, and the theme is fall in the city! I am so excited, and will definitely be sharing a ton of the behind the scenes on the store’s Instagram account!

Both this month and last I feel like I have been trying out a lot of new things! Not even just beauty or hair products, but shows, food, etc. So a mixture of beauty and lifestyle! I have been wanting to do a monthly favorites post to talk about them all, but wanted to change it up! And since we are already half way through September I’m going to combine August and September favorites into this post!

The layout for this blog post was inspired by Audrey of AudreyMadStowe.com! Read HER POST!

FAVORITES THIS MONTH

Reading: Something Blue by Emily Griffin. My mom read this book a while ago and told me I would love it. I’m just now getting around to reading it, and I’m hooked. It’s actually a series… which I didn’t realize until I was already halfway through the SECOND book. I was debating on stopping and reading the first one, and then going back but honestly, I didn’t want to stop. It’s not confusing, and the first one is the same type of story but just told from another character’s point of view.

Planning: New York Fashion Week 2019! Hahah, kidding… kind of. But after living vicariously though my Instagram feed this year, my number one goal is to go next year!

So, in reality, I’ve been planning for my best friend’s wedding which is in just THREE WEEKS! Basically just the last minute details (dress, gifts, etc!)

Watching: How To Get Away With Murder! I started watching this show a few weeks ago, and am already on Season 4! It’s so addicting. I had heard about the show from a lot of people, but never thought I would like it. I thought it was a murder mystery show haha! Basically, if you loved Scandal you will love HTGAWM! It’s about a law professor and her students, who she hires at her law firm and just goes through their cases and private lives. It’s so good!

Also, in August I watched Dynasty and finished it in just two weeks! There’s only one season on Netflix – season 2 comes out next month! This one is a mix of Revenge and Gossip Girl I would say! It’s about a super wealthy family, and their family business and just has a ton of drama and action. I loveeee it!

Cooking: Lettuce wraps! I  am so not a chef, and I hate hate hate cooking or baking. I’d rather eat mac n cheese or something I can microwave. #healthy

But, I randomly got in the mood to eat better and cook. So, last week I made lettuce wraps and they were so good and so easy! I did quinoa, black beans, salsa, and avocado and they were YUM!

Eating: all things pumpkin! Seriously. I’m that basic girl who goes crazy for anything pumpkin flavored. Gimme it all.

Pinning: hair inspiration for Kaci’s wedding! I’m doing my own hair, and still trying to decide what style I’m wanting.

Loving: So many things! But I have really been into my $3 reusable cup from Starbucks! It looks exactly like their classic cold to-go cup. I’ve been filling it with Tazo pumpkin spice chai, which is also something else I have been loving!

I have been wearing these lashes everyday nonstop for the past few weeks! I used to wear these lashes religiously a few months ago and then randomly stopped. But, we are back and better than ever!

Next on the beauty list for this month would be Tula! If you follow any blogger, you have heard of this skincare line! They have such amazing reviews, and I swear 85% of the girls I follow rave about Tula. Last month I finally caved and bought their facewash. I have been using it consistently morning and night going on 2 weeks now and I will say my face has never felt more hydrated and soft! It has great reviews on clearing up redness, so I’m waiting on that! I promie I will do another update, once it’s been over a month.

Ok last thing: this iPhone tripod! Hahahah so silly, and such a weird item as a favorite for the month but this little guy has SAVED my life and seriously helped my IG game 😋 I’ve been using it to take most of my photos, and it’s been so nice not having to wait on someone else and rely on their schedule. Also just nice to not have to make anyone else do something for my business! So I highly highly recommend getting this (only $15!) if you are in the market.

Feeling: Kind of hard to pinpoint. I’m in a weird season of life right now, and just feeling stuck most days.

Listening: Podcasts! So many good ones, and I seriously listen to them everywhere.

This type of blog post was super fun for me to write, it was a nice change of pace! I hope you enjoyed it.
Have a great weekend!
