It is officially fall, and I am over the moon so excited about it! After summer, fall is my favorite season. I wish Houston actually got a real Fall, but I will take whatever I can get!

Let’s talk fall trends real quick shall we? I’m not one to get SUPER into runway fashion, or trends but sometimes it’s fun to see what’s going to be hitting the shelves come fall! I follow a ton of bloggers that were at New York Fashion Week! Through their Instagram stories, I felt like I got to be at a ton of shows and see what was going to be in style this season!
Plaid was EVERYWHERE! Mainly in mini skirts, and blazers. I saw so many girls wearing plaid, specifically more neutral plaid colors like this skirt! Which I am loving! Last Fall and Winter mini skirts were all the rage too, styled with OTK boots and big chunky sweaters. Finding skirts that fit my body shape is pretty tough, so I only ended up finding two that I ever wore last year! I am making it my mission to stock up on all the skirts this year! Starting with this plaid one from The Cheeky Lemon! I love that it is neutral colors, and will go with sweaters once it starts cooling down in Houston.
